On this guided bike tour you will cycle past the Roman aqueducts and, after a 30-minute train ride, reach Castel Gandolfo and Lake Albano - a true pearl embedded in the hilly countryside south of Rome. You will enjoy a delicious lunch in an Italian trattoria by the lakeside, before returning through countryside back-alleys and the Ancient Appian Way.

Important information
  • Meeting point: Via Labicana 49, Rome (5-minute walk from the Colosseum).
  • Please note that 70% of the route of this tour takes place off-road. For this reason, we rate the difficulty level of this tour as "Intermediate". The difficulty level becomes "Difficult" on days preceeded by rainy weather.
  • Please also note that the track around the lake is currently deemed to be under risk of landslide. For this reason, until further notice, we won't ride the loop around the lake.
  • Child policy: The participation of Infants (aged 1-4 years) traveling on a child seat (max 55 lbs / 25 kg) and Children (aged 5-8 years old) joining the tour on a child extension are not recommended. Children aged 9 and above who are proficient cyclists can ride their own E-Bike.
